On this page you will find the park regulations, the general terms and conditions and the privacy statement of Speelpark Oud Valkeveen.
When you buy tickets (online), purchase a season ticket and/or enter our park, these rules and conditions apply.
General
Speelpark Oud Valkeveen (hereinafter referred to as "the Speelpark") reserves the right at all times to remove visitors from the park if they violate these regulations or if the management deems it necessary. To this end, it also reserves the right, if the facts and/or circumstances reasonably warrant, to search clothing, bags, and identification. Failure to allow a clothing search may result in removal from the park. Such removal does not entitle you to a refund of the entrance fee or compensation. Violation of these regulations may, in addition to removal from the park, in certain cases result in a police report. Speelpark reserves the right at all times to maintain visible or invisible camera surveillance in various areas and throughout the park. This footage is intended to protect your and our safety and property. Speelpark reserves the right to change opening hours/days during the season.
Parking
Dutch traffic regulations apply to our parking lots. Once the park closes, the parking lot is no longer accessible to incoming traffic (with the exception of visitors to special events and taxis). We request that you do not leave animals in your car, lock your car securely, and do not leave any valuables inside. Speelpark is not responsible or liable for damage to your car resulting from burglary, collision, or otherwise. This also explicitly applies to damage caused by storm, fire, hail, explosion, or other extraordinary events. If damage to your vehicle is caused intentionally or through gross negligence on the part of our employees or persons for whom Speelpark is responsible, Speelpark may be liable for this damage. You must show this damage to Speelpark management or the police before leaving the parking lot. Season ticket holders are not guaranteed priority or a parking space.
Entrance tickets
Access to the park grounds is permitted only through the designated entrances with a valid ticket, or through an invitation to an event organized in the park. Tickets are strictly personal and cannot be exchanged for cash. Season passes remain the property of the Play Park. Season passes can be confiscated if the season pass holder behaves improperly or violates the park regulations. Access rights expire upon leaving the park and surrounding grounds. It is prohibited for anyone to remain on our grounds outside opening hours.
General regulations
Use of playground equipment, buildings and attractions
Use of the playground equipment, facilities, and attractions at the Play Park is entirely at your own risk. The Play Park is not responsible or liable for any damage or injury caused by improper use. On quiet days, as determined by management, not all attractions will be open simultaneously.
Visitors with medical conditions must use our attractions at their own discretion. Speelpark cannot be held liable for this. You are permitted to bring your own food and/or drinks into the park. However, we request that you consume your food and/or drinks outside the Speelpark's catering facilities and associated terraces. During busy periods, the catering facilities and associated terraces are reserved for visitors who purchase refreshments there. It is not permitted to remove Speelpark property from the grounds, either temporarily or permanently.
(Commercial) activities by third parties
Advertising in the Playground and other areas, offering goods and services, conducting public surveys, counts, and collections is prohibited. Television and photo recordings may be taken in the park at any time. If you do not wish to be photographed, please avoid locations where you see a photographer or camera crew working. It is prohibited to make recordings for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the Playground. If this permission is not obtained, access to the park may be denied or the visitor may be removed. Publishing and reproducing copyrighted works without prior written permission from the Playground is also prohibited. It is not permitted to carry banners, flags, statements, and/or other objects that, in the opinion of the Playground staff, could be offensive, discriminatory, insulting, or aggressive or disturbing to other visitors.
Liability
The Playground takes the necessary precautions. The playground equipment, facilities, and attractions in the park are carefully maintained, inspected, and monitored, and a first aid station is available. If necessary, ask our staff to escort you to the first aid station. If you notice any situations that could potentially lead to damage and/or injury, please inform one of our staff members. The Playground may be liable for damage and/or injury to you or your property, if this damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of our staff, or by a person whose actions are at our expense and risk. Liability for other damage and/or injury, such as from participating in/using our attractions or playground equipment, is expressly excluded. If you suffer any damage and/or injury, you must report this to management immediately. The Playground is not liable for damage and/or injury if the report is made after you have left the park.
Conclusion
In all other cases not explicitly mentioned here, the management has the final say. You can request a copy of these regulations at the ticket office and at www.oudvalkeveen.nl.
