Park Regulations, Terms and Conditions and Privacy

On this page you will find the park regulations, the general terms and conditions and the privacy statement of Speelpark Oud Valkeveen.

When you buy tickets (online), purchase a season ticket and/or enter our park, these rules and conditions apply.

Park regulations

General

Speelpark Oud Valkeveen (hereinafter referred to as "the Speelpark") reserves the right at all times to remove visitors from the park if they violate these regulations or if the management deems it necessary. To this end, it also reserves the right, if the facts and/or circumstances reasonably warrant, to search clothing, bags, and identification. Failure to allow a clothing search may result in removal from the park. Such removal does not entitle you to a refund of the entrance fee or compensation. Violation of these regulations may, in addition to removal from the park, in certain cases result in a police report. Speelpark reserves the right at all times to maintain visible or invisible camera surveillance in various areas and throughout the park. This footage is intended to protect your and our safety and property. Speelpark reserves the right to change opening hours/days during the season.

Parking

Dutch traffic regulations apply to our parking lots. Once the park closes, the parking lot is no longer accessible to incoming traffic (with the exception of visitors to special events and taxis). We request that you do not leave animals in your car, lock your car securely, and do not leave any valuables inside. Speelpark is not responsible or liable for damage to your car resulting from burglary, collision, or otherwise. This also explicitly applies to damage caused by storm, fire, hail, explosion, or other extraordinary events. If damage to your vehicle is caused intentionally or through gross negligence on the part of our employees or persons for whom Speelpark is responsible, Speelpark may be liable for this damage. You must show this damage to Speelpark management or the police before leaving the parking lot. Season ticket holders are not guaranteed priority or a parking space.

Entrance tickets

Access to the park grounds is permitted only through the designated entrances with a valid ticket, or through an invitation to an event organized in the park. Tickets are strictly personal and cannot be exchanged for cash. Season passes remain the property of the Play Park. Season passes can be confiscated if the season pass holder behaves improperly or violates the park regulations. Access rights expire upon leaving the park and surrounding grounds. It is prohibited for anyone to remain on our grounds outside opening hours.

General regulations

  • Adults/parents must supervise their children and other minors in their party and ensure that they also adhere to the park regulations.
  • The safety regulations indicated by signs or instructions from our staff must be followed completely and immediately.
  • Smoking is prohibited at all indoor locations. This also applies to e-cigarettes. We also request that you limit smoking in the presence of children.
  • The management is authorized to close and maintain an attraction or part of the park at its own discretion, without this giving any right to a refund (of part of the price) of the entrance ticket and/or other compensation.
  • It is prohibited to enter the park with skates or any other vehicle that can reach a higher speed than on foot.
  • Possession or carrying of weapons or other objects deemed by management to be potentially threatening, such as knives, chains, and the like, is strictly prohibited on the Play Park grounds. Management reserves the right to confiscate these objects or remove their owners from the park, possibly in consultation with the police.
  • Making unnecessary noise and playing radios etc. is not permitted.
  • It is not permitted to fly drones over the park unless written permission has been granted.
  • Open fires are not permitted at the Playground. This includes the use of gas.
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, or dealing in or possessing narcotics, may be denied access to the park or may be removed from the park without refund of any expenses incurred.
  • Physical or verbal abuse, or any other undesirable behavior towards other visitors or our staff, will not be tolerated. Persons engaging in such behavior will be immediately removed from the park (if necessary, with the assistance of the police), without entitlement to a refund of their entrance ticket or any other compensation.
  • Dogs and other (domestic) animals are not allowed in the park, with the exception of guide dogs.
  • Lost and found items are kept for three months after discovery. After this period, the items become the property of the Playground.

Use of playground equipment, buildings and attractions

Use of the playground equipment, facilities, and attractions at the Play Park is entirely at your own risk. The Play Park is not responsible or liable for any damage or injury caused by improper use. On quiet days, as determined by management, not all attractions will be open simultaneously.

Visitors with medical conditions must use our attractions at their own discretion. Speelpark cannot be held liable for this. You are permitted to bring your own food and/or drinks into the park. However, we request that you consume your food and/or drinks outside the Speelpark's catering facilities and associated terraces. During busy periods, the catering facilities and associated terraces are reserved for visitors who purchase refreshments there. It is not permitted to remove Speelpark property from the grounds, either temporarily or permanently.

(Commercial) activities by third parties

Advertising in the Playground and other areas, offering goods and services, conducting public surveys, counts, and collections is prohibited. Television and photo recordings may be taken in the park at any time. If you do not wish to be photographed, please avoid locations where you see a photographer or camera crew working. It is prohibited to make recordings for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the Playground. If this permission is not obtained, access to the park may be denied or the visitor may be removed. Publishing and reproducing copyrighted works without prior written permission from the Playground is also prohibited. It is not permitted to carry banners, flags, statements, and/or other objects that, in the opinion of the Playground staff, could be offensive, discriminatory, insulting, or aggressive or disturbing to other visitors.

Liability

The Playground takes the necessary precautions. The playground equipment, facilities, and attractions in the park are carefully maintained, inspected, and monitored, and a first aid station is available. If necessary, ask our staff to escort you to the first aid station. If you notice any situations that could potentially lead to damage and/or injury, please inform one of our staff members. The Playground may be liable for damage and/or injury to you or your property, if this damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of our staff, or by a person whose actions are at our expense and risk. Liability for other damage and/or injury, such as from participating in/using our attractions or playground equipment, is expressly excluded. If you suffer any damage and/or injury, you must report this to management immediately. The Playground is not liable for damage and/or injury if the report is made after you have left the park.

Conclusion

In all other cases not explicitly mentioned here, the management has the final say. You can request a copy of these regulations at the ticket office and at www.oudvalkeveen.nl.

Great playground/amusement park for small children. We went there with our children, aged 5 and 7, and they were a joy to behold. Parking is available right outside the door, and you don't need a separate parking ticket. We found the staff to be very friendly.

Maaike
5.0

Great place to have fun with kids up to about 12 years old. Fun attractions, but also regular play equipment where they can entertain themselves for hours! And last but not least, the coffee is good!

Bart
5.0

A nice mix of rides and play equipment. We had a lovely afternoon here. And the boys (8 & 4 years old) were mostly free to play. We only had to take the youngest one on an attraction every now and then. And that's when the child in us comes out again...

Erica
5.0

A super fun, clean park with playground equipment and attractions for younger children, and a large lake by the beach. Parents can enjoy a coffee at the picnic tables while the kids enjoy the well-organized park. Plenty of choices at the restaurant and snack bar. Friendly staff, very pleasant atmosphere. Free parking!

Kevin

Great amusement park, great value for money! It's geared more towards the little ones, with mini versions of popular attractions, but even a 13-year-old will have a great time. Clean, well-maintained, and well-organized. Besides various attractions, there's also plenty of play equipment for kids to enjoy, and a nice beach to cool off on.

Anita

A pleasant, well-organized park. Several areas with play equipment in the sand, suitable for children aged 1 to 8. Attractions for children aged 3 to 6.
