Oud Valkeveen Playground is located in a beautiful wooded nature reserve between Huizen and Naarden. For almost 100 years, it has been a paradise for children who simply love to play. The park boasts a large playground, a theater, its own beach on the Gooimeer lake, and plenty of places for adults to enjoy the sun and nature. To ensure all our guests have an unforgettable day, Oud Valkeveen is looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated staff at the start of each play season. You can choose a department or work in a versatile role.

Period: weekdays in September, October (2026) & playing season 2027

Our available positions

Park staff: Are you our eyes and ears in the park and is operating attractions really something for you?
Hospitality staff: Do you have an affinity with the hospitality industry and are you a real team player?
Entertainment staff: Will you put a smile on the faces of all our visitors by shining on stage?
General Service Employees: As a General Service Employee (AD), you are primarily responsible for maintaining a clean and well-maintained park at all times. This requires constant attention. You are also the first point of contact for park staff. You ensure that all necessary cleaning tasks are assigned during the park's opening and closing and oversee employee break times.

Do you agree with the points below?

You are at least 16 years old.
You are enthusiastic, spontaneous and have a strong sense of responsibility.
You can work independently as well as within a team. You have strong communication skills.
Affinity with children.
Please be aware that you may be scheduled to work on public holidays.

Great playground/amusement park for small children. We went there with our children, aged 5 and 7, and they were a joy to behold. Parking is available right outside the door, and you don't need a separate parking ticket. We found the staff to be very friendly.

Great place to have fun with kids up to about 12 years old. Fun attractions, but also regular play equipment where they can entertain themselves for hours! And last but not least, the coffee is good!

A nice mix of rides and play equipment. We had a lovely afternoon here. And the boys (8 & 4 years old) were mostly free to play. We only had to take the youngest one on an attraction every now and then. And that's when the child in us comes out again...

A super fun, clean park with playground equipment and attractions for younger children, and a large lake by the beach. Parents can enjoy a coffee at the picnic tables while the kids enjoy the well-organized park. Plenty of choices at the restaurant and snack bar. Friendly staff, very pleasant atmosphere. Free parking!

Great amusement park, great value for money! It's geared more towards the little ones, with mini versions of popular attractions, but even a 13-year-old will have a great time. Clean, well-maintained, and well-organized. Besides various attractions, there's also plenty of play equipment for kids to enjoy, and a nice beach to cool off on.
